About us
A manufacturer built on its own R&D
Charbhuja Agrochem Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of agricultural products in India, with a fully automatic plant producing MnSO4, MnCO3, bio-fertilizers, micronutrients, plant growth promoters, decomposing bacteria, organic fertilizer (PROM) and soil conditioner (CMS).
The company was incorporated on 20 November 1985 with the motto of manufacturing high grade zinc ingots by the electrolytic zinc recovery process, and started commercial production in June 1989. After ten years of progress it decided to switch over to the agrochemical business, seeing its huge future demand in the market.
We believe in research and development before producing any material, which helped us successfully produce manganese sulphate solution, manganese carbonate and manganese sulphate powder. Our R&D worked closely with Atul Chemicals Ltd. to recover manganese sulphate powder from their manganese sulphate solution, and Charbhuja was the first to develop that manufacturing process for Atul Ltd.
On that foundation the company captured the market across the country with clients such as United Phosphorous Limited, Sabero Organics Ltd. and Indofil Ltd. To be more competitive it developed a plant at Panoli and entered the zinc sulphate market, dealing in zinc sulphate powder, zinc sulphate solution and zinc EDTA.
Going a step further in forward integration, the company develops micronutrient products for fertilizers with the support of a large infrastructure at both Chattral and Panoli. We manufacture mix micronutrient soil application under the brand name BORANA, hold licences for Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, and supply both wholesalers and retailers.
We have also started manufacturing Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM) granules with 100 MT per day capacity. Within two years we took licences for Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and began supplying organisations such as NACOOP and MARFEED, alongside job work for Aries Agro on granules. Our own brand in this range is BORANA PROM.
Our emphasis is always on products that benefit farmers and give good results in their crop, made with technologies that keep them cost effective. We have a fully furnished R&D centre and laboratory, a team of committed professionals who ensure quality consistency, and a marketing team that makes sure the product is available on time and applied correctly.

Our journey
How we got here
Incorporated on 20 November to manufacture high grade zinc ingots by electrolytic zinc recovery.
Commercial production begins in June.
The company switches over to the agrochemical business, seeing its future demand.
